The Cleveland Browns were able to secure their second straight with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on prime time. Unfortunately, their victory was overshadowed by the brawl that broke out between defensive end Myles Garrett and quarterback Mason Rudolph.

It seems all the madness surrounding Garrett's decision to hit Rudolph with his own helmet left one interesting tidbit in the dark. According to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, it wax the first time that the Browns had defeated both the Steelers and the Ravens in the same season:

This is, amazingly, the first time the Browns have ever beaten both the Steelers and the Ravens in the same season.

It is safe to say that this is certainly quite the feat for Cleveland. There is no question that this franchise has spent most of its days on the losing side of history, however, the fact that they were not able to beat both of these teams at least once until Week 11 of the 2019 NFL season is indicative of how much they have struggled through the years.

Although the win was essentially spoiled by Garrett's actions in the closing seconds of the game, it still goes a long way in helping to keep the Browns' playoff hopes alive. Interestingly enough, they still have another meeting with both of their AFC North rivals left on the schedule. They need to find a way to make history twice over if they hope to overcome their current 4-6 record and potentially win the division.
