Despite their recent years of turmoil, there is a newfound sense of optimism surrounding the Cleveland Browns. Needless to say, the entertainment industry has picked up on the strides they have made this offseason.

Although Cleveland has been the worst franchise in football for quite some time now, they seem to finally be on their way back to NFL relevancy. According to Kyle Kelly of The Browns Wire, their path to resurgence will be documented on HBO's Hard Knocks this year:

Browns are likely going to be featured on this year’s HBO Hard Knocks series, per source. An official announcement is expected on Thursday.

Teams have usually done what they can to avoid such a spotlight. However, it appears Cleveland has no choice given all that they have done and will continue to do this offseason.

The Browns revitalized their offense with the acquisitions of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Both Taylor and Landry are proven playmakers in this league and are expected to help stabilize what has been an otherwise lackluster offense over the past few seasons.

However, the most intriguing aspect of their offseason will be what they do with the first and fourth overall picks in the 2018 NFL Draft. This may be why the announcement is expected to be made on the same day. Cleveland is likely going to take one of the bevy of top quarterbacks in this year's draft.

That said, it will be interesting to see how their future picks adjust to being tasked with having to help turn Cleveland's fortunes around next season.
