The Cleveland Browns have been one of the busiest teams in the NFL thus far this offseason, and now, they are shopping defensive lineman Emmanuel Ogbah in trade talks, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

This comes on the heels of the Browns acquiring pass rusher Olivier Vernon in a deal with the New York Giants, so with Vernon's addition, the need for Ogbah is not so dire anymore.

Ogbah is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he played 14 games and registered 40 tackles, three sacks, a fumble recovery, and eight passes defended.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Oklahoma State University, was originally selected by the Browns in the second round (32nd pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He appeared in all 16 contests during his rookie season, finishing with 53 tackles and 5.5 sacks in what was an impressive first year as a starter along Cleveland's defensive front.

Then, the following year, Ogbah participated in just 10 games, as he suffered a broken foot in Week 11 and was ultimately placed on the injured reserve list. During the time he was on the field, Ogbah tallied 29 tackles, four sacks, a couple of forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and six passes defended.

The Browns went 7-8-1 this past season, marking their best finish since winning 10 games all the way back in 2007. Cleveland has not made the playoffs since the 2002-03 campaign, representing the longest active playoff drought in the NFL.

However, with additions like Vernon and, most recently, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the Browns look like they are getting closer and closer to ending their misery.
