The Cleveland Browns are in search of a new defensive coordinator and it appears former Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph will be interviewing for the job.

Joseph is a great defensive minded coach, but had a disappointing run with the Broncos due to many transitions and developments with the team in an obvious rebuild. The Broncos have not been anywhere near the elite form they were when Peyton Manning was with the team. Fortunately for Joseph, he'll get another shot on the sidelines as he has been sought after by several teams. Joseph would likely be with the Browns because it seems as though Arizona's new head coach Kliff Kingsbury will be bringing on a lot of members from his own close knit circle.

Joseph specializes in coaching defensive backs as he spent many years in the league coaching the position with the Texans, Bengals, and 49ers. Joseph spent 2016 with the Miami Dolphins before getting the head coaching job with Denver. Joseph will have a talented group of defensive backs ij Cleveland if that's in fact where he goes. The Browns have fantastic secondary players with Denzel Ward, Jabrill Peppers, Derrick Kindred, and Damarious Randall.

The Browns have incredibly talented stars on defense elsewhere as well with defensive end Myles Garrett and linebackers Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert. Joseph will have a lot of talent to work with if the Browns do choose to offer him the job and Cleveland could continue to build upon an impressive 2018 second half.
