The Cleveland Browns are no stranger to change, from coaches to quarterbacks, and 2020 is no different. And the latest modification to the franchise's identity has come in the form of brand-new uniforms.

The Browns took to Twitter to reveal their new look for the 2020 campaign on Wednesday:

The Browns have teased the release of the new uniforms throughout the offseason and it finally came to fruition. Their posts via social media have indicated that they made efforts to pay homage to the past while ushering in a more modern version of their classic look.

They have worn a number of different uniform combinations ever since Nike took over the redesigns. Unfortunately, none of their choices never seemed to quite be the right look. As a result, they have opted to go with a more retro version moving forward.

Not only was Cleveland able to reveal their new threads, they also committed to doing it for a good cause. The team had announced that all of the proceeds from jersey sales at FirstEnergy Stadium’s Pro Shop will go to the “Hats Off To Our Heroes” Fund for an undisclosed period of time.

Although the uniform change may give fans something to look forward to amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it is safe to say that they are more concerned with the state of the team. After all, the Browns are coming off a disappointing 6-10 2019 campaign that saw them fall vastly short of their Super Bowl aspirations.

Regardless, expectations remain as high as ever and the new digs will only serve to rekindle this sense of optimism.
