Deshaun Watson is more than ready to start anew and lead the Cleveland Browns to the promised land after years of heartbreak.

On his first Instagram post since being traded to the Browns from the Houston Texans, Watson shared his excitement to join the franchise. He posted a photo of him in Cleveland jersey and highlighted that he is ready to get to work.

The Browns won the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes, and that is a big reason for the team to be happy. They had to part ways with tons of picks, including three first-rounders, but that is a calculated gamble given the talent they are getting in the young QB. At just 26 years old, Watson is already a three-time Pro Bowler who has led the Texans to a couple of playoff appearances during his time in Houston.

Sure there are still concerns about his sexual abuse lawsuit, but since it has been ruled that he won’t be facing criminal charges, the Browns can expect to have the QB on the field after sitting out the whole 2021 campaign.

They should also benefit from the fact that Watson looks more motivated than ever following the drama that followed him throughout the past season. He is one of the better young QBs in the NFL, and now that he has a chance to get things right in his career, Browns fans can only hope that it leads to bigger and better performances from their new signal-caller.
