Free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant continues to flirt with the Cleveland Browns. Bryant and the Browns do seem to have interest in each other, and though he was earlier reported to be avoiding the phone calls of Cleveland general manager John Dorsey, the romance is definitely back on after the wideout dropped the Dawg Pound a shoutout on Twitter.

The Browns could use another receiver to add to their air attack. They recently just shipped former first-round pick Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills, thus amplifying the speculations that the Browns are zeroing in on Bryant. Moreover, the Browns may temporarily lose Antonio Callaway to suspension after marijuana was found in his car, while the enigmatic Josh Gordon has yet to make his way back to the team.

Those who are clamoring for Bryant to come and join the Browns must also be thrilled to know that he is on his way to Cleveland next week to kick off his tour.

Cleveland is poised to have a better season ahead since there’s no way but up for the Browns after finishing with an embarrassing 0-16 record in 2017. Dorsey has been busy behind the desk this offseason in trying to shore up the Browns’ offense. He traded for quarterback Tyrod Taylor, used the team’s No. 1 pick on another signal-caller in Baker Mayfield, drafted running back Nick Chubb, and signed a pair of key free agents in tailback Carlos Hyde and wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

A trio of Bryant, Landry, and Gordon has the potential to transform Cleveland’s offense into one of the deadliest in the league.
