The Cleveland Browns could soon become the kings of the AFC North — if all goes according to plan, that is. With the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals all taking turns at the top of the division over the years, the time seems to have finally come for the typically lowly Browns.

The Browns, a team that finished in third place in the divisional standings at a nearly even 7-8-1 a season ago, are now expected to reach the postseason by way of winning the AFC North in 2019-20. Thanks to the arrival of several key players, the Browns appear primed for a breakout season in 2019.

However, first-year Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens isn't buying too much into the hype just yet. Until the Browns actually make some legitimate noise, it does not appear as though Kitchens will be giving in just yet.

“We didn’t accomplish anything,” Kitchens recently said of the team's 2018 campaign, via CantonRep.com.

In addition to hiring Kitchens on a full-time basis, the Browns also managed to acquire former New York Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., earlier in the offseason. With Beckham Jr. now officially on board in Cleveland, the All-Pro pass catcher will join the likes of quarterback Baker Mayfield, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, tight end David Njoku and running backs Kareem Hunt, Duke Johnson Jr. and Nick Chubb on offense.

Thanks to the team's ramped up activity in terms of acquiring players over the last several years, the Browns finally seem ready for a successful season.
