Heading into the NFL Draft, the big knock on Cleveland Browns cornerback Greedy Williams was his inability to tackle. All the talk leading surrounding Williams' struggles to tackle made him fall into the middle of the second round when the Browns selected him.

Williams talked heading into the draft about how it was something he was focusing on and improving, but the only real way to prove that he had changed was to go out on the practice field and tackle with success.

Defensive back coach DeWayne Walker was asked about Williams' tackling and he said that the former LSU standout has shown everybody that he will tackle.

“He showed everybody that he will tackle,” Walker said of Williams before a recent practice via Browns Wire. “I’m sure that’s the main thing everybody wanted to see…It’s hard in practice because you don’t get a lot of live reps, so it’s nice to see (tackling) in a live setting.”

Williams is a rookie and there will be struggles. Against the Washington Redskins, he did have a mixup in coverage that allowed a long touchdown pass, but those type of things are expected and can be corrected.

Tackling is something that really has to be worked on, and it's clear that Williams took it seriously and has changed. The rest will come along as long as Williams continues to work on his game. If he can do that, this is going to be a steal and he could be a huge part of the Browns for a very long time.
