The Cleveland Browns may have been last year’s subjects for HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series, but thanks to a whirlwind of moves this season and some promising play in 2018, the Browns could potentially be making another appearance on the show.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Jimmy Traina, the Browns have not yet been ruled out of once again being the subject of this year’s series:

While all 32 teams are an option, many will likely be bowing out of any filming. Currently, there are three rules that make teams exempt from participating in the show, including if they’ve made the playoffs once in the last two seasons, if they have a new head coach, or if they’ve appeared on the show in the past 10 years. Obviously, the Browns meet two of those requirements, but could also choose to participate on the show if they’d like.

Last season’s series tracked the Browns as they drafted their hopeful quarterback of the future in Baker Mayfield, brought in new players, and tried to build a winning culture in Cleveland. The Browns finished the year 7-8-1, Baker Mayfield set rookie quarterback records, and the team acquired receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade just last month.

Needless to say, the Browns would make for another fascinating entry to the series, and fans would likely love to see the energetic and youthful squad once again get behind the cameras.
