As reports begin to state new Cleveland Browns general manager isn't against the firing of Hue Jackson, the coach has since come out to dismiss that sort of possibility.

Basically, at least according to Hue Jackson, John Dorsey will do no such thing.

And yet, according to people in league circles, it is the strong belief that Dorsey wants to fire Jackson, especially if Cleveland goes 0-16 on the season.

When asked about the idea that Dorsey might want his own guy, or that his job might be in jeopardy, Jackson responded in kind:

“I don’t think that’s the case at all,” Jackson said of John Dorsey wanting to hire his own coach, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Following their Week 14 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland holds a 1-28 record in the first 29 regular season games under Jackson. His 2017 Browns are three losses away from becoming just the third in league history to put together a winless campaign since the AFL-NFL merger.

We are only a few weeks removed from Cleveland Browns ownership fully backing Jackson heading into next season.

“Hue Jackson will remain our coach and will return for the 2018 season but we feel it is necessary to take significant steps to strengthen our personnel department,” Jimmy Haslam said.

Do you guys believe Hue should get another season manning the helm or no?
