Meet Hue Jackson, the offensive NFL mind whose coaching talent has improved many young signal-callers in the league where they play for pay. Now meet the other Hue Jackson, the head coach of the Cleveland Browns, the man who understands both sides of the football are important.

Sure, the No. 1 overall pick is likely to be a quarterback (as the man of the moment mentions), but the Browns sideline boss is still dreaming of potentially pairing collegiate edge stud Bradley Chubb with pro edge stud Myles Garrett, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

“I do at nighttime when I’m by myself,” Jackson said. “You kind of play that scenario game with all these different guys. I wish I could have them all. There will be good scenarios as we come down to the end here.”

Chubb or not, the three-year veteran head man understands talent is the true measuring stick when selecting from the juicy annual pool.

“Obviously, as you guys have already pegged it, we’re taking a quarterback, and then here comes the No. 4 pick,” Jackson said, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “We need impact football players, period, and that’s part of where we are. So here’s another opportunity to put some impact players on our team that can help us get to winning as fast as we can.”

Garrett, 22, was the first man selected in last year's version of the draft. In 11 games in 2017, he tallied seven sacks, a pass defensed, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and 19 tackles. Chubb, who nearly mirrors Garrett from a prototypical standpoint, if chosen, would make for a frightening Browns complement to Garrett along Cleveland's suddenly nasty defensive line.

The 2018 NFL Draft comes your way in a little under a month, Thursday, April 26, 2018, representing the first round in primetime. Not until then will Ben Roethlisberger, Andy Dalton and Joe Flacco know if the two games against the Cleveland Browns will represent one scary week of prep.
