The Cleveland Browns want to improve as quickly as possible. After a winless 2017 campaign that everyone in Cleveland wants to forget, the struggling NFL franchise has done an admirable job of improving in specific areas through of their roster through trades, free agency, and the NFL Draft. One of those positions is at wide receiver with the addition of Jarvis Landry.

Landry, whom the team acquired in a trade with the Miami Dolphins earlier in the offseason, is arguably among one the best wideouts in the game today. In fact, he believes there's no equal at the position in the NFL, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

“I consider myself the best,” he said after the first Brown OTA open to the media on Wednesday.  “I consider myself the most complete receiver. If you turn on the film, I do everything – I block, I play inside, I play outside and I come out of the backfield. My value is that much more to the team and to the offense. I consider myself the best receiver in the NFL.”

Last season, Landry hauled in a career-best 112 receptions while with the Dolphins. An impressive feat considering the shaky quarterback situation in Miami.  He also racked up 987 receiving yards to go along with a career-high nine touchdowns.

In Cleveland, Landry will have the luxury of playing alongside Josh Gordon downfield. Gordon's presence should make it easier for Landry to put up big numbers in Cleveland as he'll likely be facing less double teams.

However, a lot of this success in the receiving corps also depends on the play at the quarterback position. Fellow newcomer Tyrod Taylor is expected to be the starter in Cleveland with rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield more than likely being the backup.
