The Cleveland Browns were finally able to snap a four-game win streak against the Cleveland Browns with the help of a big performance from wide receiver Jarvis Landry. It seems he has started to notice some rather favorable coverage from opposing defenses.

Landry had his way against the Bills defense with nine catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. He says he will continue to take advantage as long as they choose to focus primarily on wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk:

“I’ve recognized the past few games that they had their good cornerback follow ‘O’ [Odell Beckham Jr.], and I’ve recognized it as disrespect to me,” Landry told PFT by phone minutes before the start of Sunday’s Football Night in America on NBC.

This is the second consecutive week Landry has managed to find paydirt following a slow start to the year as part of this lackluster Browns' passing attack. It seems to be the result of teams opting to sick their best cornerback on Beckham and taking their chance on the other side. Fortunately, he has proven more than capable of taking advantage as of late.

The fact that Landry is not seeing as much pressure should hardly come as any surprise considering he shares the field with Beckham. Although he has taken the lax coverage with a grain of salt, it has helped him emerge as a focal point of the offense in the second half of the 2019 NFL season. If he can continue to put up big numbers, it may only be a matter of time before teams are forced to pick their poison.
