Cleveland Browns star Jarvis Landry became the fifth player to notch at least 600 receptions and 7,000 receiving yards since 2014, joining an elite group consisting of Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins, Antonio Brown, and Travis Kelce. The Browns receiver marveled at his incredible feat and tweeted a simple emoji in reaction to his achievement.

It's certainly a Dawg Pound over there in Cleveland, especially with Landry being their leading receiver over the past three seasons.

To date, Landry has a total of 636 receptions and 7,028 receiving yards etched to his name over his 7-year career, with the first four coming with the Miami Dolphins. This past 2020 campaign, the 5-foot-11 wideout recorded 72 receptions and 840 receiving yards, which is the least he has had as a member of the Browns. Landry averaged 82 receptions and 1,075 receiving yards in his first two years in Northeast Ohio.

Landry may have missed his first Pro-Bowl after making the team for five straight years from 2015 to 2019, but he did enjoy the best season of his career in terms of team success.Ā Under the guidance of newly-crowned Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski, the Browns made the playoffs for the first time since 2002 and won their first postseason game since 1994.

Despite the relatively down individual year, Landry is still a staple in their offense. The 2020 Browns made an imprint on the record books as one of the best offensive seasons in franchise history. Still, the 28-year old believes that the Cleveland offense will be better in 2021.

Should Landry return to his Pro-Bowl form next season, the Browns should certainly put the rest of the league on notice.
