Jarvis Landry really wants the Browns to land another top receiver. In an effort to improve Cleveland's receiving corps, Landry has apparently lobbied the team to trade for his close friend and former college teammate, Odell Beckham Jr.

But OBJ isn’t the only big-name wideout Landry has his sights set on. This time, he’s recruiting veteran free-agent Dez Bryant to join to Browns via Twitter.

This isn’t the first time Landry has publicly expressed his desire for Dez to come to Cleveland. He commented on an Instagram post asking whether Bryant would make the Browns offense better by saying “absolutely” and tagged Bryant for good measure.

However, there remains some uncertainty as to whether Bryant actually wants to become a Brown. Despite the fact that he himself hinted that he’d be open to wearing a Browns jersey, he has conspicuously not yet agreed to meet with the team despite their interest, which has led some within the organization to think he’s not that interested in coming to Cleveland.

But the Browns clearly need some added help at receiver behind Landry given all the issues their wide receivers have been involved in this offseason. Josh Gordon remains missing due to treatment, Corey Coleman has been shipped off to Buffalo, and now rookie Antonio Callaway has been cited for marijuana possession in a car that also had a gun strap and ammo.

It remains to be seen if Dez will heed Landry’s call and ride with him in Cleveland. If not, he and the Browns better move on and target some other capable wideout who is willing to come over.
