Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has made it clear that he is not happy with his current situation and wants a trade, and quarterback Baker Mayfield has made it equally clear that he is not happy about Johnson's attitude.

Earlier in the offseason, Mayfield called Johnson's issues “self-inflicted” and said that “you're either on this train or you're not, it's moving,” comments that can obviously be taken as derisive if you are Johnson.

Apparently, Mayfield's other teammates did not take too kindly to his remarks, either, as Mike Silver of NFL.com reported that several Browns players came to Mayfield afterward to express their displeasure with the way he handled the situation.

Still, Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry does not think any of this will be a big deal, calling the predicament a “non-issue,” per Kevin Patra of NFL.com. Landry also said that he doesn't foresee Mayfield and Johnson having any problems working together this season.

Johnson's malaise has stemmed from the fact that Cleveland went out and signed Kareem Hunt this offseason, making him the third running back on the depth chart. Of course, Hunt will miss the first eight games of the season due to a suspension, but once he returns, he and Nick Chubb will see the majority of the action in the backfield.

That being said, Johnson's role is very different from Hunt and Chubb, as he is more of a pass-catcher than a rusher. Regardless, he apparently feels his playing time will be cut due to the presence of two other good running backs.

The Browns, however, don't seem to have any plans of meeting Johnson's trade request.
