Odell Beckham is one of the league's most dynamic playmakers when he has the ball in the open field. Unfortunately for the Browns, Beckham had a hard time getting the ball in Cleveland's blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Thursday, Beckham's teammate and best friend Jarvis Landry stated what a lot of Browns fans are thinking. Per Charean Williams of NBC Sports, Landry told reporters:

“We’ve definitely got to find a way to include him even more in the offense and be intentional with it. It doesn’t matter if the defense knows it.”

With the offense stagnate for most of the night, head coach Freddy Kitchens tried to get his top receiver the ball in any way he could. Kitchens decided to have Beckham try and return a put for the first time all season.

Saying it didn't work out would be an understatement as Beckham, desperate to make a play, broke the cardinal rule by traveling backward before having the ball poked out and recovered by the Niners.

Beckham's lack of touches isn't so much his fault as it is Baker Mayfield's. The second-year quarterback has regressed substantially. Mayfield was only able to throw for 100 yards in addition to giving up three turnovers in Monday's game. Kitchens' offense is useless if his quarterback is not able to make sound decisions in the pocket.

For how bad the Browns have played in their losses, we still don't know who this team is. Are they the team that dismantled the Ravens in Week 4 or the team that got dismantled by the Niners in Week 5?

For the sake of Kitchens, the franchise and the fans the Browns better figure it out soon.
