Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry is not a fan of the new CBA proposal by NFL owners, and he seems to be preparing fans for a potential stoppage of play:

The NFL Players Association is not happy with the owners pushing for a 17-game season, given the amount of stress that players already have to endure over the course of a 16-game campaign.

This could certainly be setting up a rather interesting battle between the players and the owners, and while a lockout seems unlikely, it's something that obviously can't be ruled out.

The Browns talent is someone who is never afraid to speak his mind, so the fact that he has already expressed his concerns on social media hardly comes as a surprise.

The 27-year-old is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played every game and hauled in 83 receptions for 1,174 yards and six touchdowns en route to his fifth straight Pro Bowl appearance.

Landry, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the second round (63rd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Dolphins, earning three Pro Bowl selections before being traded to the Browns in March 2018.

Landry, who underwent hip surgery earlier this month to repair an injury that had been nagging him throughout the season, has never missed a game in his NFL career.

Cleveland entered 2019 with Super Bowl aspirations, but it went just 6-10 and missed the playoffs altogether.
