The future of Odell Beckham Jr. with the New York Giants is getting more and more uncertain. The talented wideout is reportedly willing to hold out if he doesn’t get a contract extension this offseason, while Giants owner John Mara has not ruled out trading the superstar wideout.

With that in mind, Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry – Beckham’s college teammate at LSU – went on Twitter to try and recruit OBJ for a possible reunion in Cleveland.

Landry and Beckham spent three years together at Baton Rouge from 2011-14. They formed one of the most fearsome receiving duos in the country during their junior year as both of them went for over 1,100 receiving yards and combined for 18 touchdowns.

Bringing the two Tigers back together would be a major coup for the Browns. Landry, who was acquired earlier this offseason in a trade with the Miami Dolphins, has averaged 105 catches and 1,093 yards in each of the last three seasons. Meanwhile, Beckham averaged 96 catches for 1,374 yards and 12 touchdowns in his first three years in the league before missing 12 games last season due to a fractured ankle.

The Browns have already proven this offseason that they are not afraid to pull the trigger on some major trades. They still have a host of assets – including the No. 4 pick – which they can offer in a possible blockbuster deal for Beckham.

The Giants obviously won’t be eager to let go of their franchise player so easily. But if they don’t make progress on contract talks, Cleveland could be in line to grant Landry’s request and reunite him with his brother Beckham.
