The Cleveland Browns made several splash moves this offseason, creating plenty of excitement and buzz around the team ahead of the 2018 season. Among those was the acquisition of Pro Bowl wide receiver Jarvis Landry in a trade from the Miami Dolphins.

Since his arrival, Landry has been quite vocal about his outlook for the Browns and what he believes the team can achieve, such as competing for more than just a playoff spot and the AFC North title. Per ESPN's Elizabeth Merrill, his brother, Gerald Landry, stated that the 25-year-old is more than ready to put the franchise on his back like LeBron James did for many years with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

“I think that's what he lives for,” Gerard Landry says. “[The pressure of] ‘Man, I'm gonna put, just like LeBron, I'm going to put the city on my back and carry us through.' I think he's up for it.”

These are incredibly loft expectations, as James lifted the Cavs to five NBA Finals appearances, with much of that coming in his second stint where he took the Cavaliers to the Finals in four consecutive seasons while winning the franchise's first championship.

Although Landry won't be able to have the same level of impact on his team as James did given that James is one of the best basketball players all time and football is a much different sport, it does speak to his unwavering commitment to the franchise.

Still, Landry has a chance to make a significant impact given the elite caliber of wide receiver he has become in his first four seasons. He is coming off a career-best and league-high 112 receptions for 987 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2017. Landry became the fastest player to reach 400 career receptions through his first four seasons, and he has put up at least 84 catches in each campaign while topping 1,000 receiving yards and 110 receptions twice over that span.
