James Holzhauer is best known for his recent legendary run on the trivia show ‘Jeopardy,' but he's also an avid and accomplished sports bettor. Holzhauer likes to bet the NFL, and during a recent interview with Peter King of NBC Sports, Holzhauer dished out some gambling tips.

When asked who he liked to win it all this year, Holzhauer threw some cold water on the excitement surrounding the Cleveland Browns.

“If I had to pick a team or two to make it to the Super Bowl, win the Super Bowl, the boring answer is the Patriots and the Rams,” Holzhauer declared.

The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams, of course, met in the Super Bowl last season, with the Patriots winning 13-3. Holzhauer then launched into who not to bet on.

“Everyone knows these guys are the best teams out there. But if you’re looking to invest in a futures ticket, I would say that the big thing to avoid is look away from the teams that have all the hype surrounding them,” he said. “I can’t believe we live in a world where the Cleveland Browns are the most hyped team in the preseason. But I would say they’re probably the single worst bet to win the Super Bowl right now.”

That's got to be deflating to the many Browns fans who have already put down wagers on their team to win it all, but it makes some sense. Oddsmakers react to public perception, and public perception of the Browns is at an all-time high.
