The Cleveland Browns have been one of the busiest teams in the NFL this offseason, swinging trades for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and linebacker Olivier Vernon and signing running back Kareem Hunt and defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson.

And they may not be done dealing.

With the NFL Draft looming later this month, Browns general manager John Dorsey is not ruling out trading back into the first round after sending the No. 17 overall pick to the New York Giants in the Beckham deal:

“Business as usual. That's the way it is,” Dorsey said on Adam Schefter's podcast. “Who is to say I won't go up in the first round?”

Schefter then asked if Dorsey attempting to trade up would be a sure thing, and Dorsey responded with this:

“You never know,” he said. “My phone is open. They can give me a call.”

After acquiring Beckham, Dorsey had said that the Browns were essentially open to anything:

“We will try to plan for every scenario that we can,” he said, per Josh Edwards of 247 Sports. “If we deem that there is a player to move up for – that is a hypothetical – if you think the player can help you, you go up and do it. Those are the mechanisms that work out. You have to plan for them, but then you have to execute them on the day of the draft.”

Cleveland is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which it went 7-8-1, marking its best finish since winning 10 games all the way back in 2007.
