Kareem Hunt was pulled over by police nearly a week ago for possession of marijuana and the Cleveland Browns running back was emotional while speaking with the officer. Following the run-in with the police, Hunt admitted that he would've failed a drug test per TMZ Sports.

When the Browns star was pulled over by the police, the officer noted that the car that he was in smelled like marijuana. Therefore, the officer searched Hunt's vehicle and found a backpack with marijuana inside.

Along with the marijuana, the officer found a bottle of vodka in the same backpack. The dynamic running back began to express his remorse for putting himself into an awful situation. Despite being cited with marijuana, the officer chose to seize the weed and let Hunt go with just a ticket.

Of course, this isn't the first time that Hunt has made headlines for the wrong reasons. Last year, Hunt was seen in a video kicking and assaulting a woman in a hotel following an altercation. As a result, the Kansas City Chiefs released the former third-round pick.

Unlike some players, Hunt was given a second chance in the NFL when he signed with the Browns. After his unfortunate incident with the Chiefs, Hunt began the 2019 season on an eight-game suspension.

Then, in Week 10, the Toledo product made his season debut with Cleveland. In the final eight games of the season, Hunt totaled 464 yards from scrimmage on 80 touches and scored three touchdowns.

It remains to be seen if the Browns decide to retain Hunt for the 2020 season. Regardless of what Cleveland chooses to do, hopefully, Hunt can get himself back on track for a remarkable career in the NFL.
