The typically lowly Cleveland Browns are currently in the midst of what could ultimately become quite the memorable offseason. With the AFC North franchise looking to turn things around in a hurry, the Browns previously brought in former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt despite his controversial past.

With Hunt initially being released by the aforementioned Chiefs en route to joining the Browns, the former Toledo standout is apparently exceeding expectations in Cleveland.

“He is doing great,” Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens recently said, via NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk. “He is doing everything we are asking him to do. Exceeding expectations from the standpoint of how he is in the building, how he is around the players and how he is on the field. I have never been around him until now, but that’s what I see and that’s what we have gotten. He is doing things in the community. He is continuing to work on an everyday basis, and he is not taking any days off from the standpoint of becoming a better person, a better player, and I think everybody is going to see the benefits of that.”

In addition to adding Hunt, the Browns also managed to acquire All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants. With former No. 1 overall draft pick Baker Mayfield now slated to serve as the team's starting quarterback for years to come, paired with a stacked roster, the Browns remain in good shape with the 2019 campaign looming.
