Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt will be returning to his old stomping grounds as the team is set to face the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the AFC bracket. Hunt spoke that he still keeps in touch with his former teammates but insisted that it will be all business on the field come Sunday, per Aaron Ladd.

Hunt started his career with the Chiefs back in 2017 where he finished a stellar rookie campaign. He eventually bagged a Pro Bowl appearance and became the rushing yards leader in just his first season in the league.

The Toledo product carried over his momentum unto the next season where he served as the primary rusher of the Chiefs offense. However, he was prematurely released by the team back in late November of 2018 after a video of him assaulting a woman abruptly surfaced.

He then managed to be signed by his hometown team in the Browns back in February of 2019 but had to sit out a number of games due to his situation. Hunt finally established his footing with the team in the 2020 season where he currently leads the rushing game alongside fellow ball-carrier Nick Chubb.

The Ohio native proved his worth once more as he delivered for the Browns in their Wild Card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He notched 48 rushing yards on eight carries and two scoring drives for the Browns en route to a 48-37 upset victory.

Despite heading to Kansas City as the underdogs, Kareem Hunt will ensure that he will produce on the field in order to lead the Browns to advance to the next round of the postseason.
