Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt knows he needs to do a lot to win some fans over, and so far he is taking all the right steps. Hunt has gone to counseling twice a week for some months now, and he is also getting baptized this weekend.

Hunt knows how much he has hurt everyone with his actions and he is taking his comeback very seriously, which is why he is doing the counseling and trying to put his right foot forward.

“It feels like you let everybody down,” Hunt said to Zac Jackson of The Athletic. “I felt that and I definitely don’t want to go back to that place again. I’m taking this very seriously. Day by day I’m just making the best decisions for the time and place, doing everything I can to prevent something like that from ever happening again.”

Hunt has also been going around Cleveland and talking to area football players to make sure they don't make the same mistakes that he has. He has also spent a lot of time at his former school Willoughby South High School where he has worked out with the track and football team.

The former Toledo Rockets star knows that not everyone is going to forgive him but the only thing he can do is take the right steps to try and get people to trust him again.

“The only way to (earn trust) is my actions,” Hunt said. “I’ve got to earn trust back, and my actions are going to show that I can.”
