Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has provided an update on wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. According to Stefanski, Beckham is 100 percent and ready to practice come training camp. Landry has also looked good, but he is “on a different program.”

Beckham dealt with a core muscle injury for most of last season and underwent surgery and is now back 100 percent health. Landry also had offseason surgery on his hip, but it seems he is on track with his recovery even if he's not on the same timetable as Beckham, based on Stefanski's comments.

The Browns hope they can take the next step forward heading into the 2020 season. If they want to do that, it's going to be important that guys like Landry and Beckham are fully healthy.

Last season, his first with the Browns, Beckham caught 74 passes for 1,035 yards and four touchdowns. At times there were rumors the teams might trade him this offseason, but that doesn't appear to be happening.

The new coaching staff has had nothing but praise for how Beckham has handled himself this offseason. Browns offensive coordinator Alex VanPelt said even though everything has been virtual this offseason, he has seen how hard of a worker Beckham is. Said Van Pelt (via the Browns' team website):

“He's a worker … He loves football. He's smart as hell. He's just been a model guy this offseason.”

It's still a few months away from the start of the season, but everything seems to be heading in the right direction for the Browns in their attempt to be competitive in the AFC North.
