The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly on the market for some fresh talent and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett already sent his audition tape to team owner Mark Cuban.

On Wednesday, the 25-year-old supreme defender once again flexed his skills outside the gridiron by sharing his own basketball highlight video.

It's interesting that Garett reached out to Cuban instead of the Browns' basketball counterparts, the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are actually in dire need of more talent right now. Then again, the two-time Pro-Bowler has strong ties to the state of Texas, as he was born and raised in Arlington and played college football at Texas A&M.

Garrett already showcased his impressive basketball skills earlier this month, showing him bullying hapless defenders in a pick-up game. While it was the first-team All-Pro defensive end's athleticism that stood out the most as he easily threw down ferocious dunks, looks like Garrett also possesses a nice shooting stroke from long distance.

The 6-foot-4 tank of a man would definitely be a “big guard” in the NBA, as he walks around a 272-pound frame of pure muscle.

The Mavericks, meanwhile, are reportedly being aggressive before next month's trade deadline, as they try to assess value for Kristaps Porzingis in the market. While it's highly unlikely that we'll see Garett trade his Browns jersey for a Mavs one, it's still an intriguing idea how the NFL superstar will fare if he played basketball instead.

As impressive as he looks in the hardwood, Myles Garett will probably stick with his day-job considering he is one of the best defensive players in football right now.
