In his second campaign in the league, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has taken the next step forward in his development that has seen him put together the best campaign of his brief career.

This has also earned him the first Pro Bowl nod as he was named one of three at his position to represent the AFC alongside Houston Texans' J.J. Watt and Los Angeles Chargers' Melvin Ingram. In response to this major individual accomplishment, Garrett voiced that it is just part of the process for him with many more to come down the line. (h/t Josh Edwards of 247 Sports)

“It is nice. Step one of many steps to come, and hopefully, many more.”

Garrett has quickly become one of the promising talents at his position in the league behind game-changing ability as a pass rusher that has made him one of the primary factors defensively. This type of mental approach has helped them quickly reach this point as he's one of the most physically gifted defensive talents in the league behind his size and speed. He is currently sixth in the league with 12.5 sacks, which is third-most among players in the AFC.

The 22-year-old has quickly proven to be worth the high selection in the 2017 NFL Draft where he was the first overall pick in that draft class. His play has been to help the Browns turn it around this season as they are an upward trajectory after winning four out of their last five games played while remaining in the playoff picture.

That said, this is the type of mindset that Garrett will continue to thrive on as it shows that he isn't settling with any of these individual accolades. This is simply a unique honor quite early in his career that speaks to the type of talent he is.
