The Cleveland Browns are coming off an incredibly disappointing 0-16 season. Despite a winless campaign in 2017, Cleveland is expected to take a leap forward in 2018 with some welcome additions on offense as well as the return of a healthy Myles Garrett on defense.

Garrett was the No. 1 overall pick in last year's NFL Draft and may have a bright future ahead in Cleveland as the team tries to finally become a force to be reckoned with in the AFC. Along with Garrett hoping to make an impression in his second season, the Texas A&M product can't wait to get his shot to go up against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and fulfill his promise, via Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

“Oh, thank God,” Garrett said.

Of course, Garrett said he “absolutely” still plans to take down Roethlisberger.

“I’m a man of my word,” Garrett said. “So hopefully I get to meet him on the field and off the field.”

With the Browns set to open the 2018 NFL season against the division rival Steelers on Sept. 9, Garrett will finally get his opportunity to make good on his vow to get his sack on Roethlisberger. The second matchup between these two AFC North teams will take place in Week 8 on Oct. 28.

Garrett didn't get a chance to face the two-time Super Bowl champion last year as he missed the team's first matchup with Pittsburgh due to injury and Roethlisberger didn't play in their second showdown in the regular-season finale in order to rest in preparation for the playoffs.

Cleveland's top draft choice in 2017 played in 11 games last season but was fairly productive when on the field. Garrett finished his rookie campaign with seven sacks, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery and 19 tackles.
