The Cleveland Browns have become immensely talented in a hurry. With the team recently acquiring All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants, many have already forgotten that Cleveland also managed to add former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, who will begin the upcoming 2019-20 campaign on the league's suspended list.

Nonetheless, it appears as though there is at least a chance that the Browns stick with fellow running back Nick Chubb as the starter in the backfield even after Hunt eventually returns to the AFC North franchise.

“The Browns made a commitment to Nick Chubb by taking him with the No. 33 pick last year, and he earned their trust with a strong rookie year,” writes Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com. “He will be the starter in 2019, I think even after Hunt is eligible. But Hunt is immensely talented, versatile and led the league in rushing as a rookie in 2017, so if he avoids trouble off the field in 2019, he could start 2020 as the No. 1 back.”

With the Browns now housing Beckham Jr. and Hunt, in addition to Chubb, the previously dismal franchise has added such a tandem to quarterback Baker Mayfield, wide receiver Jarvis Landry, tight end David Njoku, and running back Duke Johnson — which just covers the offense.

As a result, the Browns have already been pegged by many as the overwhelming favorites to reach the postseason in 2019-20 by way of winning the AFC North division over the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, and heralded Pittsburgh Steelers.
