The Cleveland Browns made a splash with the acquisition of former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. It appears Beckham is already looking to get to work with the franchise.

Cleveland enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in the 2018 NFL season. Beckham is hoping to build on that momentum moving forward, via Browns Twitter:

“We have a lot of work ahead of us but I really feel like it’s time for the Browns to come together, start winning a lot games and I’m grateful to be a part of that going forward.”

Although the Browns may not have finished with a winning record, their performance last season was a tremendous upgrade compared to years past. As a result, expectations have grown rather high in Cleveland. The addition of Beckham just solidifies that notion.

There is certainly good reason for the Browns to be optimistic about their chances. While the rest of the AFC North is in the midst of a rebuild, Cleveland is now looking stronger than ever. They boast one of the most promising, young quarterbacks in the league Baker Mayfield. They have now managed to provide him with arguably the most talented receiver duo in the NFL as well.

Beckham is easily considered to be in the elite class of receivers when healthy. He will likely take over as the Browns' No. 1 option across from his good friend and college teammate Jarvis Landry. It is safe to say that all eyes will be on Cleveland's suddenly high-powered offense come next season.
