The New York Giants, at least according to some organizational higher-ups, will be better without Odell Beckham Jr. going forward. Everyone knows that his production indicates otherwise, and now come additional statistics suggesting the Giants will struggle even greater now that the superstar wide receiver plays for the Cleveland Browns.

Pro Football Focus rated Beckham as the highest-graded offensive player on the Giants in 2018, and the league's fourth-best wide receiver overall. He proved one of the most elusive players in all of football, and also one of the game's most efficient route-runners.

None of that's surprising. Perhaps Saquon Barkley was more valuable to New York last season, winning Rookie of the Year after leading the NFL in total touches, scoring 15 total touchdowns, and averaging 5.0 yards per carry.

But Beckham, when healthy, at least, has been one of the most dangerous playmaking threats in the NFL for several years. It was no different in 2018, either, when he had 77 catches for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns despite playing in just 12 games, playing for an inconsistent offense beset both by injuries and a scheme deficiency.

Needless to say, expectations are high after Cleveland traded safety Jabrill Peppers and first and third-round selections in the 2019 NFL Draft in exchange for Beckham. Pairing him with rising star quarterback Baker Mayfield, All-Pro wide receiver Jarvis Landry, and star running back Kareem Hunt (once his suspension ends) has led many to call the Browns one of the most talented offensive teams in the NFL.

Will Beckham be the Browns' highest-graded player in 2019? Maybe not given his new team's talent, but Giants fans will certainly miss Beckham regardless.
