On Thursday, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. raised some hairs when he said that he doesn't know what the future holds nor how long he will remain in Cleveland.

That obviously led some to think that he was not particularly happy with the Browns, but on Friday morning, Beckham took to social media to assure everyone that that is not what he meant.

“I NEVER said I was not happy in Cleveland, just like everyone else I’m hopeful for better results. Period. Next story plzz,” Beckham wrote on Twitter.

To be fair, no one really said that Beckham said he wasn't happy in Cleveland, as Beckham did not, in fact, say that. What he did essentially say was that he doesn't know if he will be back with the Browns in 2020, which is certainly enough to get people talking.

After all, Cleveland was expected by some to be a juggernaut this season largely because of its addition of Beckham back in March. Instead, the Browns have gone just 5-7, and Beckham has been largely disappointing, logging only a pair of touchdown catches through the first 13 weeks of 2019.

Of course, Cleveland's struggles are hardly all Beckham's fault. Baker Mayfield has had a miserable sophomore campaign, the defense has been shoddy and first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens has looked lost at times.

Now, with just four games remaining in the regular season, the Browns' playoff hopes are incredibly bleak, even if three of their last four contests come against the Cincinnati Bengals (twice) and Arizona Cardinals.
