The Cleveland Browns made quite a splash with the acquisition of former New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason. Beckham admits the best part about it is that he is reunited with wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

He and Landry became good friends during their days as teammates at LSU. Beckham admitted in an interview with Jacob Davey of Complex pairing up with him again is a dream come true:

I’m very excited by the culture at the Browns. It’s been building over the years, and they’ve got players over there who I just know I’m gonna click with. Jarvis is a brother of mine, and we dreamed of this moment. It’s just crazy that it’s actually happening. The percentage of people that make it to the NFL is less than 1%, so the chances of me playing with one of my brothers on the same team is a dream manifested, for sure.

Beckham's comments are certainly understandable. He and Landry enjoyed plenty of success together as a dynamic duo in college. They then managed to establish themselves as bonafide No.1 options in the NFL with their respective teams. Although the two always toyed with the prospect of teaming up, the Browns were finally able to make it a reality this offseason.

Landry had served as the top option in Cleveland's passing game last year. It is safe to say that Beckham will now be slotted at the top of the pecking order. Regardless, having two go-to options on each side of the field should only serve to benefit each receiver moving forward. Their rapport as friends and former teammates will pay huge dividends as they look to get Beckham up to speed in the new offense.
