The Cleveland Browns were able to secure a much-needed victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. They even finally managed to get wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. in the end zone for just the second time in the 2019 NFL season.

It is no secret that the Browns have struggled to get Beckham going this year. He admits his second touchdown of the season came with some mixed emotions, via Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com:

“Uh, I don’t really know how to explain it, it was what it was,’’ said Beckham. “I wasn’t super excited about it knowing and feeling the disappointment that I should have been in here a long time ago. It was pretty mixed emotions.’’

Beckham's comments are certainly understandable. His arrival had generated plenty of hype for this Cleveland offense heading into the 2019 campaign. Unfortunately, it is safe to say that this group has fallen vastly short of expectations at 5-6 in the final stretch of the year.

The touchdown from Beckham occurred a whole eight games after he recorded his very first of the year. The Browns star had become accustomed to double-digit touchdown seasons during his time with the New York Giants, however, that will likely not be the case this time around.

Even if Beckham was not completely happy with scoring just his second touchdown of the year, he still did a solid job of hiding it with one of the more notable celebrations in Week 12. Regardless, it is clear that he is hoping to find paydirt much more often than he has this season.
