The Cleveland Browns gutted out a 12-9 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon to grab their second victory of the season. However, the Browns didn't go through the contest unscathed as the team, losing wide receiver Rashard Higgins to a sprained MCL in the fourth quarter.

The injury will keep Higgins out of action for the next two to four weeks, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Teammates of Rashard “Hollywood” Higgins rolled out an imaginary red carpet for him in the end zone after he caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield, but now they'll have to roll it back up for awhile.

A favorite target of Mayfield's, Higgins suffered a sprained MCL in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 12-9 overtime victory over the Ravens, and will be out 2-4 weeks.

The loss of Higgins is a significant blow as he was proving to be a strong, reliable asset in the passing game for the Browns, especially with the insertion of rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield. In Mayfield's first two starts, Higgins was one of the primary targets with seven catches for 127 receiving yards with more than 60 receiving yards in each contest.

His absence should shift more of the responsibility in the passing game over to Pro Bowler Jarvis Landry, rookie Antonio Callaway, and tight end David Njoku. Running back Carlos Hyde could also be used as a receiver in addition to a heavier reliance on him in the running game. Hyde is off to a strong start to the 2018 season, ranking sixth in the league with 348 rushing yards and second with five rushing touchdowns.

Cleveland has plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball that should see them continue to remain highly competitive in games while their defense has proven to be a formidable unit.
