Dating back to last season, the Cleveland Browns are just 1-26. They’re winless through 10 games this season. Needless to say, the Browns are the football representation of a dumpster on fire. Equating the franchise to a flaming pile of garbage might not even be enough to convey just how bad this team is.

The Browns are not just making their fan base suffer. They’re also burning a big hole in the pockets of anyone audacious enough to bet on them.

Let this be a clear warning to people thinking of taking the Browns’ point spreads in future games: Cleveland has gone 2-8 against the spread this season. In other words, they are not just failing to win games, they’re also playing worse than what most Vegas oddsmakers think they would in every week.

Even when oddsmakers make the Browns at least a 10-point underdog, Cleveland would find a way to let down their backers. In fact, the Browns are just 2-10 in the last 12 games in which their opponents were chalks by at least 10 points.

For whatever it is worth, and it isn't much, the Browns did hit pay dirt though back in Week 1 when Cleveland covered its 10-point spread as an underdog in a 21-18 home loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland will play the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium but don’t count on the team, which opened as around 8.5-point underdogs for that game, to either win or cover the spread. They are 0-4 ATS on the road this season and are also 0-6 ATS in their last six games versus Cincy.
