It's been a tough season for the Cleveland Browns as they can't seem to catch a break. They're still within reach of a potential playoff spot, as they're just one game back behind the Baltimore Ravens. However, it seems Skip Bayless has the inside scoop on Baker Mayfield and the aftermath of the Odell Beckham Jr. debacle.
According to Skip Bayless, the “Browns locker room is very close to turning on Baker Mayfield because of Odell Beckham Jr.” If this is true, Cleveland might be in more trouble than previously perceived. If the locker room isn't together, there is virtually no chance of success.

Something went wrong between Mayfield and Beckham Jr., there is no denying that. However, what wasn't expected was the blowback or aftermath of Beckham Jr. leaving the Browns. Although he hasn't quite produced spectacular numbers during his time in Cleveland, Odell Beckham Jr. is still viewed as an elite receiver in the league.
This is something the coaching staff and the organization need to handle immediately. If the Browns' roster is focusing on the drama that's ensued within the franchise this year, Cleveland's playoff hopes go down the toilet. Additionally, with Mayfield's future in question, this could become fuel for the front office to move on from him altogether.
Skip Bayless claims his source is credible, so we have to believe this information is true. Odell Beckham Jr. was loved within the Browns locker room and it sounds like his departure is rubbing his former teammates the wrong way. We'll see what happens, but things aren't looking good for Cleveland.
