Cleveland Browns star quarterback Deshaun Watson was cleared of criminal charges on six counts of indecent assault, two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault by the Harris County grand jury back in March. However, many believed that the Browns star wasn't out of the woods yet, as the possibility of an NFL suspension under the league's Personal Conduct Policy has been looming for some time.

Judge Sue L. Robinson, a retired federal judge, is overseeing the disciplinary hearings for Deshaun Watson. But when could she release her decision? Some clarity on the timeline of a potential decision was revealed on Monday. Charles Robinson of Yahoo has the details.

Interesting. Per Robinson, the judge's decision on an NFL suspension for Deshaun Watson could “bump up against” or “overlap” with the start of Browns training camp, with the full team expected to be present on July 26.

That would mean the Browns would know of any potential Watson absence well before the start of the season. That's not even the most interesting part, though.

One theory surrounding the arbitrator, Robinson, is that she is taking her time with the suspension decision to give Watson and the league another “chance at settling.”

That's exactly what the Houston Texans, Deshaun Watson's former employer, recently did. It will certainly be interesting to see if that- and the threat of a suspension- moves the Browns star to act.

In the meantime, NFL fans will wait with bated breath to see if Deshaun Watson incurs a suspension.
