The Cleveland Browns are sitting at home with no head coach or general manager. After another failed campaign in a long list of failed campaigns, the AFC North franchise is looking towards the future; first, with their eyes set on adding a general manager.

According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Browns could be looking at two men in the Seattle Seahawks' first office for their general manager search: Trent Kirchner and Scott Fitterer, who both act as co-director of player personnel in Seattle.

The Browns could be targetting one of the two at the conclusion of the Seahawks' season. They will do so due to Seattle's sustained success, which began in the early years of the 2010s and has not let up.

One would be hard-pressed to understand the strategies of Kirchner of Fitterer. However, one could presume they would resemble that of current Seahawks general manager John Schneider.

Under Schneider, the Seahawks tend to take an aggressive approach when it comes to trading back in the NFL Draft and parting ways with their own players. Seattle is a team that is not afraid to make trades; recently, their acquisitions of both Jadeveon Clowney and Quandre Diggs have earned praise for the value sent to the respective negotiating teams. Seattle also tends to draft with the coach's say in mind.

The Browns' general manager search likely won't conclude soon. They can't keep rotating through the builders of their team. Hopefully, if they find a new one, they will stick.
