The Cleveland Browns are all over the place. With receivers dropping the ball as if it were a phone with bad reception, to switching from DeShone Kizer to Kevin Hogan and back again, it is a wonder how the fan base remains sane.

In what appears to be an attempt to highlight leadership, the incredibly young signal-caller called a players-only meeting in what must have felt like seconds after earning his starting job back.

“As I said earlier this week, it’s about doing more, and that’s just a small thing that we can add into the week,” Kizer told Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com. “It’s something that I think can allow us to just open up the communication line and make sure they understand what I’m thinking and make sure I understand what they’re thinking.”

Apparently, DeShone Kizer came up with this plan while being benched last week.

“After sitting last week, it was something I thought we'd benefit from,” he said. “Yesterday there was a couple of things I wasn't able to meet with them about individually, so if I figure if I can bring them all together and have them all listen to it at the same time, it would be all right.”

Listen, the Browns are always on the wrong end of poor jokes on social media. If we are being honest, though, Kizer does seem to have all the talent in the world to get it done. It is now just about the coaching staff letting him play through his troubles this season and the front-office doing more to get him capable players on the outside.

Yes. I have a reserved seat on the DeShone Kizer will save the Browns bandwagon. Come join me!
