The Cleveland Browns still have an interest in acquiring Trent Williams, according to Josina Anderson of ESPN. Anderson added that nothing is imminent or on the table, but it's something to keep a close eye on.

Previous Browns general manager John Dorsey tried to go after Williams, but the Washington Redskins weren't willing to budge. It's pretty clear at this point, Williams won't ever be playing for the Redskins again, so the team holding onto him now is just a stubborn move.

Browns' new offensive line coach Bill Callahan was Williams' position coach in Washington, so he has some experience working with the former All-Pro.

Former general manager Scot McCloughan said he believes if Williams was in this year's draft, he would be the first offensive line selected, even if his age was considered:

“He’d be the first tackle taken this year in the draft, hands down, . . . even at his age,” McCloughan said during an interview on Team 980 via the Washington Post. “You know what you got. You bring him in, you’re going to get three to four years out of him, and it’s going to be Pro Bowl years. He’s legit one of the top five tackles in the NFL, hands down, right now. … He’s a great guy and a great teammate. Players love being around him.”

According to ESPN's John Keim, the Minnesota Vikings are another team to watch with Williams along with the Browns' rumored interest:

“I know Minnesota was definitely one of the teams interested,” Keim said. “I think they’d probably be the team to watch. Whether they get him or not, I don't know.”

Will the NFL draft finally be the time that Williams is on the move to a new team and could it potentially be the Browns?
