The Cleveland Browns are in the market for an offensive tackle, and they have a couple of big names on their radar.

According to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns will consider both Trent Williams and Jason Peters as they search for a left tackle this offseason.

Cleveland tried to acquire Williams in a trade with the Washington Redskins back in October, but was unable to strike a deal due to the Redskins' asking price, which was a first-round draft pick and more.

Now, Washington may be more willing to part with Williams, who is entering the final year of his deal and is at odds with the Redskins over the way they handled what ended up being a cancerous growth in his head back in 2013.

Washington told Williams it was no big deal, but last year, it was revealed to be a type of cancer, which resulted in Williams staying away from the team during the offseason. The 31-year-old tried to return in late October, but was placed on the injured reserve list after experiencing discomfort when attempting to put his helmet on due to post-surgical soreness on his scalp.

When healthy, Williams is an elite tackle and made seven straight Pro Bowls between 2012 and 2018.

Peters would certainly be an easier get for the Browns, as the veteran will hit free agency later this month. Now 38 years old, Peters entered the NFL with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent back in 2004. He spent the first five years of his career with the Bills, making a couple of Pro Bowls before joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009.

Since linking up with the Eagles, Peters has earned seven Pro Bowl selections while notching First-Team All-Pro honors twice, although his play has slipped considerably over the past three seasons.
