Dez Bryant landed in Cleveland on Thursday morning to meet with the Browns about possibly playing for the franchise. He made a surprise appearance on the Cleveland Browns daily show during his visit, sounding pretty optimistic about getting a deal done.

Bryant started the interview by saying “What up Cleveland.” He also went on to say he liked the city and would enjoy getting back in orange, which he wore with the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

According to Cleveland.com, Bryant hopes to sign a one year “prove it” deal with the Browns, and he has his agent Kim Miale with him in hopes of a deal getting done.

A lot of Browns players have talked about wanting Bryant on their team, including wide receiver Jarvis Landry.

“If he wants to be here, then obviously we're open arms and we'd love to have him,” Landry said via ESPN. “He'd be a great addition to our team and our offense — for sure.”

Landry said he would welcome the winning attitude Bryant brings, as well as his big-play ability.

“Attitude,” Landry said when asked what Bryant could bring to the Browns. “Obviously, effort. You look at the plays he's making down the field, underneath. He can really do it all — given the opportunities. I think Coach Haley would do a great job of getting him the ball if he was here, but if not, then we got guys who can make plays too.”

There is still a chance that a deal won't be agreed upon between the two sides, but at this point an agreement appears more likely than not.
