According to Colin Cowherd, Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. wants to leave amid the trade chatter involving him and the Minnesota Vikings.

On his show The Herd, Cowherd revealed that a reliable source told him Beckham “wants out” of the Browns, who acquired the popular wideout via trade in March 2019. The host also noted that the Vikings — who have been linked with Beckham — are a good fit in OBJ's eyes.

“He's not gonna make a big deal. He'll deny it. He wants to get along with everybody. … Let's just say this: OBJ will not go public, [but] he knows Minnesota is a good place. He knows it's a good fit,” Cowherd shared.

According to recent rumors, the Vikings are ready to give up a second and fifth-round pick in next year’s draft for the star receiver. Browns fans deemed the trade package odd and unfair given Beckham's caliber.

Nevertheless, Vikings supporters entertained the possibility of a lethal wide receiver combo between OBJ and Adam Thielen. Given Kirk Cousins' strong arm, a strong receiving corps will bolster Minnesota' title chances next season.

However, the trade chatter has been dismissed as “false” and “fake news.”

Rumors have followed Beckham since joining the Browns. In December 2019, he said that he's not going to bolt, emphasizing that he didn't buy a house in Cleveland just to sell it.

“It's done. It's over with. I'm not going anywhere. I'll be here. We're going to figure this thing out. It's just too special to leave,” Beckham said, per Mary K. Cabot of cleveland.com.

“I didn’t buy a house here to sell it. I know people have said ‘I didn’t sign and trade them’ before but I didn’t buy a house here to up and leave it and do renovations on a house and build a dog house.”

True or not, the spate of rumors only suggests how much of a high-value target Odell Beckham Jr. is.
