There's no need to dream any longer, Cleveland Browns fans. Those rosy images of franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield connecting with superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. on the field have finally become reality.

After Cleveland's first practice of the organized team activities period, the team released this footage of Mayfield finding Beckham on a quick slant, one of the first of many throws and catches to come between the NFL's most hyped up quarterback-receiver tandem.

Beckham, who was absent for the team's first six weeks of voluntary training in Cleveland, reported on Monday ahead of OTAs. He had spent the previous month-plus training on his own in Los Angeles. The three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro was traded to Cleveland in March in exchange for first and third-round picks in the NFL draft and promising third-year safety Jabrill Peppers.

Mayfield, meanwhile, is coming off a rookie season that established him as one of the league's most promising young signal-callers. The No. 1 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft threw for 3,725 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions while appearing in 14 games last season. More importantly, he led Cleveland, which went winless in 2017, to a 6-7 record as a starter, including five wins in the team's last seven games of the regular season.

Only time will tell if Mayfield lives up the expectations of Beckham, who predicted in a recent GQ article that his new quarterback would ultimately make the Hall of Fame. In the interim, the superstar pair will try to satisfy another of Beckham's headline-making remarks – helping the Browns become the league's next dynasty, a la the New England Patriots.
