The Tampa Bay Buccaneers currently sit with a 5-7 record, but coach Bruce Arians is still trying to treat it like they are in the middle of the playoff race. Even if they win out, Tampa Bay might not make the playoffs, but Arians knows a loss is going to kill any chance.

“We talked about it this morning,” Arians said via the Tampa Bay Times. “You know, if you want to feel what the playoffs are like, you’re in it. Right now. They’re one game seasons and if you lose your done. Then you play for fun. I’ve been in it where we’ve had to win four. We won all four. We were the sixth seed and we won the Super Bowl. (Jason Piere-Paul) has been in the same situation (with the Giants). So it’s happened, it’s been done. You just have to take care of your own business, you can’t worry about anybody else.”

Jason Pierre-Paul heard what coach said, but also thinks if they had won the close games earlier in the season, they would be in a lot better shape.

“I was telling my coach I was mad about the situation that there was probably one or two games I would’ve changed. But at the end of the day, I’m here now. All we got to do now is play and hopefully we will win.”

The Buccaneers finish their season against the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, and Atlanta Falcons. They need to win all four of those games but can't win all four if they lose the first one, so all the team's focus is on beating the Colts on Sunday afternoon.
