The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to secure their fourth win in dominant fashion against the Detroit Lions in Week 15. It appears quarterback Jameis Winston even managed to make some history during their impressive span.

According to NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano, he is the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for more than 450 yards in consecutive games:

Jameis Winston is the first QB to throw for 450+ yards in back-to-back games in the 100-year history of the NFL.

It is difficult to believe that Winston is the first one to repeat this impressive mark with all the gunslingers that have taken the field. This only serves as further proof that he is undoubtedly the biggest boom-or-bust quarterback in the NFL today and potentially of all time.

There is no denying that Winston boasts plenty of arm talent and is capable of making all the throws required of a bonafide starter in the NFL. The fact that Tampa Bay has managed to thrive off of their pass-heavy approach with him under center is evidence that the promise is there. Unfortunately, he continues to struggle with taking care of the ball.

It has become inevitable that Winston will find a way to throw an interception. His decision-making will need to improve drastically if the Bucs hope that he can take that next step into becoming a consistent Pro Bowl quarterback.

Although Tampa Bay is no longer competing for a playoff spot, they can use the remaining two games to help them gauge Winston's development in the offseason.
